At LEI, we are dedicated to transforming the lives of underserved communities through two impactful programs: Thrive Together and Rebuilding Lives. Our mission is to empower individuals and families by addressing their most pressing needs while creating a sense of community and resilience.

The Thrive Together Family Program is dedicated to addressing food insecurity in communities facing food deserts. It aims to provide access to nutritious, fresh food at affordable prices while offering health education and life skills training to promote healthier lives and stronger families. The program facilitates food distribution events, nutrition workshops, cooking classes, connecting communities to local farms and accepting SNAP benefits for farm-fresh produce. By supporting local agriculture and promoting sustainable practices, Thrive Together contributes to a healthy ecosystem. Through these initiatives, Thrive Together empowers families to make informed food choices and builds a sense of community wellness.

The Rebuilding Lives Reentry Program offers vital support to formerly incarcerated individuals as they navigate their journey back into society. We provide essential resources for job training, mental health services, and mentorship, helping participants successfully reintegrate into their communities. We participate in reunification events and connect participants with local job fairs, creating opportunities for meaningful employment and community involvement. A future goal of the program is to provide housing and transportation to and from appointments and jobs, ensuring that individuals have the support they need to thrive in their new lives.
